Think about it, A LOT of games are based around the happenings of a male character. But on the other hand, RPGs allow you to choose whether your character is male or female. I firmly agree with the poster of the Monday Musing. Put yourself in the protagonists position instead of seeing it as “another man” or “another woman”. Look at their situation, it can relate to anyone.

Game developers do their best to make a game as immersible and interesting as possible, they know there is no pleasing everyone, but there is a level which make it acceptable and playable by all – and that’s what makes a game, rather than people buying it.

The girl can sing, but rap? Oh dear. Still trying to look like Cheryl Cole too.

End of the day Cher, you have a fabulous singing voice, but leave the rapping to the real rappers. Oh and find an identity of your own, stop trying to be someone else.

Small rant, but hey, My site!

In other Top 40 news, JLS got shunted to Number 2, Mr Guetta, Cruz and Luda made a jump up 7 places to Number 6, only to be beaten for biggest rise in teh top 40 by Rizzle Kicks, who’ve jumped 11 places to Number 9.

More originality in tracks please!

…so they say anyway!

And so this weekend a new season of the Premier League begins, teams fresh to the league will be wanting to perform at their best to stay up by the end of the season, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City will be fighting over the title. And to kick it all off, thanks to the riots, Spurs vs Toffees is off. Could be worse!

Righty then. It’s Saturday. First games of the season are at 1500. Most watched will be likely Liverpool vs Sunderland. As always, the games will be a blast, everyone wants the best possible start to the season (who doesn’t). I will be more interested in the 1730 kick off, Newcastle vs Arsenal. Not the ideal start to the season that I wanted, especially with some shoddy transfer news during the summer break. As a Toon Army fan, I naturally want Newcastle to win the first game of the season, it’s at home too, so we should. Will have to wait and see what Mr Alan Pardew can come up with, and whether Mike Ashley has spent his money in the right places.

Tomorrow, Stoke host Chelsea and West Brom host Man United. Should be strong opening games for both Man United and Chelsea, but we’ll have to see what West Brom and Stoke have to offer.

And finally on Monday, Man City host Swansea. Man City hoping to steal the title this year, that should be a very entertaining game to watch.

At the end of it all, Football is about the fans. Good luck to all the new teams in the Prem, and may the best team win the title.

Man United fans, keep it shut, you ain’t won anything till it’s official!
